Downtown Baghdad blast wounds civilians, cop

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Two civilians and a policeman were wounded in an explosive charge blast that occurred in a downtown Baghdad neighborhood, the Iraqi police said on Monday. “This afternoon, an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated on 62 St. of al-Karada neighborhood, central Baghdad, near a police patrol car,” the source told Iraqi News. “The blast wounded two civilians and a patrolman and caused damage to the car,” the source pointed out.
