Oil Ministry failed to run oil permissions – MP

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Oil Ministry failed to run the first round to grant oil permissions, a member of the Iraqi parliament said Wednesday. “The Iraqi Council of Ministers has decided to form a committee headed by Thamir al-Ghadhban, the former Oil Minister, to run the second round of permissions,” Lawmaker Jabir Khaleefa Jabir told Iraqi News. “The decision proves that the Ministry failed to run the first round,” he said.
