President Talabani in good health – statement

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani is in good health after medical checks he made in the U.S. and will not undergo any surgery, a presidential statement said Tuesday. “The president underwent check up on Monday (Sept. 28) in Mayo Clinic in the U.S. and the checks proved that his health is in good condition,” said the statement received by Iraqi News. “The president will return home soon to resume his work,” the source noted. The president is in the United States to attend the 64 the session of the General Assembly meetings, during which he held talks with a number of presidents and the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon.
