Parliament’s chairmanship holds meeting with political blocs

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The parliament’s chairmanship started its meeting with representatives of the political blocs to discuss the elections law, a lawmaker said on Wednesday. “The meeting started on Wednesday (Sept. 30) to discuss the elections law,” MP from the United Iraqi Alliance (UIA), Abdulhadi al-Hassani, told Iraqi News. MP from the Kurdistan Alliance (KA) Mouhsen al-Saadon said on Tuesday evening (Sept. 29) that the meeting will discuss amendments made by the cabinet on the law number 16 of 2005.
