20 wanted persons, suspects arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen in Basra arrested 11 men wanted on “criminal charges, six wanted on “terrorist charges and three suspects others and seized landmines and unlicensed vehicles during security raids all over the province, a local security source said on Sunday. “Forces from the Basra Police Department conducted search raids in different areas of the province, arresting 11 on criminal charges, six for suspected involvement in terrorist operations and three suspects others,” the source told Iraqi News. “The raiding forces also seized six landmines and several unlicensed vehicles,” he added.
