4 gangs nabbed in Basra

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested on Monday four looting gangs in Basra, the Basra police’s information department said. “The forces arrested four gangs involved in armed and looting operations in Basra during crackdown operations in the province,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement received by Iraqi News. “The operation was launched in light of intelligence information,” it added. “A police force arrested a man suspected of killing a citizen when he ran over him in al-Maaqal region,” the statement added.
