NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Armed acts in Talafar suburb are not terror-based, but due to revenge or materialistic motivations, the suburb’s police director said on Tuesday. “Terrorist groups in Talafar (60 km northwest of Mosul city) are unable to function,” Colonel Ali Hdi Obaid told IraqiNews.com news agency. However, he demanded to increase the number of policemen in the suburb. “We need triple the number of policemen we currently have in Talafar,” Colonel Obaid said.
