Irish firm in negotiations over projects in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Negotiations have been held between the investment commission in Basra and an Irish company over the establishment of investment projects in the southern province. “The company has submitted significant projects in the housing and services sectors to the investment commission,” the head of the commission, Haydar Ali Fadel, told IraqiNews.com news agency. The projects include the establishment of 20,000 housing units for the South Oil Company’s personnel, as well as universities, schools, bridges, and sports cities, Fadel noted.
