Runaway prisoner surrenders to police

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A prisoner who had escaped from a prison at the al-Riad district of Kirkuk turned himself in to the police on Sunday, according to a local security source . “ Prisoner Yassir Rabeaa turned himself in to the police on Sunday morning,” Brig. Sarhad Qader, the chief of the Kirkuk Districts’ Police Department (KDPD), told IraqiNews.com news agency . He said that Rabeaa had been on the run since Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2009 . “ Rabeaa is wanted on terrorist charges,” Qader said .
