Poland to open representative office in Kurdistan

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The chargé d’affaires of the Republic of Poland in Iraq, Stanislaw Smolen, said that it will open a representative office in Iraq’s Kurdistan region. Foreign Relations Department official in Kurdistan Falah Mustafa met with Smolen to discuss means of boosting bilateral relations, the recent developments on the Iraqi political scene and the upcoming parliamentary elections, according to a statement published on the official web site of the Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan RegionG). The Polish official has revealed his government’s plans to open a representative office in the northern region, which he said would help develop economic, cultural, trade and investment relations between the two countries.
