Iraqi parl. debates election law amendment

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi parliament held an extraordinary session on Tuesday under Speaker Iyad al-Samarraie to debate a draft on the amendment of the 2005 parliament election law. “Today’s session also includes resumption of voting over a draft on a first amendment of the Investment Law 13/2006,” according to the parliament’s agenda as received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The session will also debate a draft on the ratification of an agreement between Iraq and the United Kingdom government on naval training and support for the Iraqi forces,” it added.
