BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi parliament presidency has set October 27 as a date for questioning Iraqi Oil Minister Hussein al-Shahrestani, according to the parliament’s oil & gas committee rapporteur on Tuesday. “Minister Shahrestani will be questioned in parliament on October 27, 2009,” Jaber Khalifa told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The questioning will focus on accusations against the minister that he was involved in public funds squandering and his failure to run the country’s oil wealth,” Khalifa added.
