Bomb defused, 3 suspects arrested in Sinjar

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces defused an explosive charge inside a house and arrested three suspected gunmen in northwest of Mosul, an official source said Wednesday. “A security force defused an explosive device in a house in al-Qayrawan district in east of Sinjar, northwest of Mosul, on Tuesday night (Oct. 13), without casualties,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The force arrested three suspected gunmen near the region,” the source added. Sinjar is 120 km northwest of Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, which lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SH (P) 2
