Several memos to be signed during Erdogan’s visit – spokesman

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Baghdad on Thursday and will meet with Iraq’s president and prime minister to sign a number of memorandums of understanding, official spokesman for the Iraqi government said on Wednesday. “Erdogan will pay a one-day official visit to Baghdad on Wednesday (Oct. 15), during which he will meet with President Jalal Talabani and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki,” Ali al-Dabbagh told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The visit will witness holding the Iraqi-Turkish strategic cooperation council,” he added. “A number of agreements and memorandums of understanding will be signed to develop relations in various domains,” al-Dabbagh said, noting that Erdogan will meet with parliament’s speaker and the two vice presidents.
