Crisis in Ninewa purely political – MP

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The crisis in Ninewa province is “purely political,” Lawmaker Nooraldin al-Hayiali of Ninewa province said on Saturday. He said that relying on a solution that would be proposed by the federal government with respect to disputed areas with Kurdistan is “an illusion.” “There will be no security or rehabilitation in Ninewa without strict political solutions,” al-Hayiali said in a press conference in Mosul attended by IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that he doesn’t accept the idea of giving up an inch of Ninewa’s lands nor agrees to carrying out a census under the Kurdish influence over the province.
