Kurdish PM meets French ambassador on economic ties

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The prime minister of the Iraqi Kurdistan region, Nejervan Barazani, has received in Arbil city the French ambassador to Iraq and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting that occurred on Friday evening (Oct. 16, 2009), the two sides discussed French trade and economic activities throughout Iraq. The two sides stressed that “Kurdistan is a safe gate to start business throughout Iraq,” according to a release posted on Saturday on the web site of the Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan RegionG).
