Two gunmen killed while planting roadside bomb in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Two gunmen where killed on Saturday while attempting to plant a roadside bomb southwest of Kirkuk city, and two civilians were wounded in the resulting blast, said a security source from Kirkuk. “The two armed men are wanted by the Iraqi security forces,” Brigadier Sarhad Qadir told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that they were planting a bomb in central Haweeja suburb, 65 km southwest of Kirkuk. “Dead bodies and injuries were admitted to the suburb’s hospitals,” He said.
