Iraq’s rowing team in Arab tournament named

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Rowing Federation on Sunday named the team to participate in the Arab tournament to be hosted next week in Egypt, where several Arab athletes will play. “The competitions will be held on October 26-31 and the Iraqi delegation will include Ghazwan Muthanna Yassin, the adults’ kayak rowing team coach,” the federation’s financial secretary, Iyad Shamsi al-Din, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Iraqi team will include 10 rowers in addition to administrative and technical staff,” he added.
