Police seize weapons in Wassit, release abducted girl in Missan

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Sunday seized a weapons cache in Kut city – Wassit province, and released a kidnapped girl in al-Kahlaa suburb – Missan province. “The weapons cache was seized based on intelligence tip offs,” the Iraqi Interior Ministry said in a release received by IraqiNews.com news agency. Another release from the Ministry said that police forces in Missan arrested four members of an abduction gang, and released a kidnapped girl in the al-Kahlaa suburb. “Raid operations will continue to round up the other members of the gang,” it said.
