Kidnapped girl released in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Police forces released a kidnapped girl in central Kut city, without arresting any of her abductors, a security source from Wassit province said on Wednesday. “The girl was released in a raid operation that targeted a house in central Kut the gang used to use for criminal purposes,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that the gang’s members were outside the house when the raid occurred. Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
