Suicide bomber kills 1, wounds 9 in Tikrit

SALAH AL_DIN / IraqiNews.com: A suicide bomber blew himself up at a party’s office in Tikrit city, killing one person and wounding nine others, including seven of the party’s guards. “The bomber was dressing an explosive belt,” a police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that the two civilians were by coincidence passing by the party’s office when the blast occurred. “The explosion left severe damages in the building,” the source said. He said that it is believed the bomber is an Arab citizen. Tikrit, the capital city of Salah al-Din province, lies 175 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
