8 wanted men arrested, arms seized in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Eight men wanted on “criminal” charges were arrested and small arms seized during security operations all over the province of Basra on Sunday, a local police source said. “Security forces in the province conducted search raids in different areas, arresting eight involved in criminal acts and seizing six Kalashnikov assault rifles,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
