Ummah Party accuses government of security weakness

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The political bureau of the Iraqi Ummah condemned the bombing attacks that targeted the Justice Ministry and the Baghdad provincial council on Sunday, accusing the government of security weaknesses. The party warned against an increase in these attacks as the parliamentary elections approach. A police source had said casualties from the two suicide explosions that targeted the government’s buildings in Baghdad rose again to 132 dead and 500 wounded. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki toured the blast sites later on in the day, vowing to punish those stand behind the attacks. SH (P)/SR 1
