Iraqi army arrests bomber in Talafar

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi army forces arrested on Tuesday a suicide bomber in Talafar, commander of the 10th brigade said. “A force from the 10th brigade of the 3rd division of the Iraqi army arrested a suicide bomber in Talafar,” Brigadier Abdulrahman Hanthal Albu Raghief told IraqiNews.com news agency. “This is the second bomber to be arrested,” he added, noting that the first one was arrested earlier this week. “The operations were launched in light of intelligence information,” he added. He gave no further details. Talafar is 60 km northwest of Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, which lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SH (P) 1
