Turkish FM arrives in Arbil

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs Mehmet Zafer Gaglayan and an accompanying delegation of 70 businessmen and investors arrived in the Kurdish city of Arbil on Friday. The Turkish delegation was received by Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan RegionG) Prime Minister Burham Saleh and Kurdistan RegionG Presidential Cabinet Chief Fouad Hussein. Davutoglu is scheduled to meet Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barazani and will hold a press conference later in the day. Gaglayan will inaugurate the Turkish-Kurdish Economic Forum. The Turkish delegation had visited the province of Basra earlier on Friday and announced the official inauguration of a Turkish consulate in the port city. AmR (P) 1
