Urgent / Larijani arrives in Baghdad, heads for Parliament

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iranian Parliament’s Speaker Ali Larijani arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday and headed to the parliament to meet its chairmanship body, according to a media source. “Ali Larijani paid a visit to the parliament and will meet its chairmanship body,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Iranian Ambassador in Baghdad Hussein Kazzemi Qomi had said earlier that Larijani will meet during his visit with Iraq’s President Jalal Talabani, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari. “The Iranian official will sign a number of memorandums of understanding with al-Samarraie,” the ambassador added.
