IED wounds 5 in western Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Five people, including three policemen, were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off near a police patrol in western Mosul city on Friday, a security source in Ninewa said. “The IED went blast targeted a police patrol near the Medical School in al-Shifaa neighborhood, western Mosul, leaving three policemen and two civilians wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “One of the two civilians wounded was a four-year-old child,” the source added, not giving further details. Mosul, the capital city of the volatile province of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
