16 wanted men, suspects nabbed in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Twelve wanted men and four suspects on Monday were arrested during search raids in Basra, according to a local security source. “Twelve wanted persons were arrested on criminal charges, in addition to four suspects,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “During the operations, 86 hand grenades, 20 canon balls, nine RPGs, two Kalashnikov rifles, one mortar shell and nine land mines were seized,” the source noted.
