Parliament to question oil minister on Tuesday

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Parliament will question the Oil Minister, Hussein al-Shahrestani, on Tuesday, MP from the United Iraqi Alliance (UIA), Haydar al-Jourani said on Monday. “The Parliament agreed to the request presented by al-Shahrestani to question him on Tuesday (Nov. 10) instead of Wednesday (Nov. 11),” al-Jourani said at a press conference, denying that the minister went to Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage. “The minister had sent a request to the parliament’s chairmanship to hold the questioning session one day earlier,” he added.
