Basra governor leads delegation to Dubai

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A delegation from Basra led by Governor Shiltagh Abboud has headed to Dubai on Thursday to hold a conference on investment opportunities in the province, the chief of the Basra investment commission said. “The three-day Dubai conference aims to encourage investors in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Iraqi businessmen there to launch investment projects in Basra,” Hayder Ali Fadel told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The conference, to be held at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE vice president and ruler of Dubai, will review an investment roadmap and opportunities in the province.
