Cabinet OKs monetary – banking training center bill

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi cabinet has approved a draft law on the monetary and banking training center and referred it to the Parliament, a government spokesperson said on Monday. “The approval is in line with the Central Bank of Iraq Law no. 56 of the year 2004 on the training and preparation of personnel working at the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) and the banking apparatus,” Ali al-Dabbagh said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The CBI has pressed for a reconsideration of the Banking Studies Center Law no. 36 of the year 1999, the statement noted. SS (P) 1
