Fadhila party plans a vote of no confidence against oil minister

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Fadhila party announced on Monday that it plans to gather signatures for a vote of no confidence against Oil Minister Hussein al-Shahrestani after the two questioning sessions held in the Parliament. “The minister avoided answering important questions during the two sessions, and the answers he did give were not convincing,” MP from the Fadhila party, Bassem Sherief, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The party will gather signatures for a vote of no confidence against the minister who failed to develop the oil industry during the past four years, in addition to evidences of financial and administrative corruption within his ministry,” he explained.
