Falluja blast wounds 5 civilians

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Five civilians on Monday were injured in an explosive charge blast in Falluja, according to a local security source. “An improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unknown gunmen detonated today near a house in Albo Alwan village, western Falluja, wounding five civilians who were close to the scene of the blast,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “A security cordon has been thrown around the area, while ambulances rushed the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment, the source noted. “A thorough investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the bombing,” the source added. Falluja, the largest city in Anbar province, lies 45 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
