Decayed body found near Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Police patrolmen have found a decayed corpse with gunshot wounds south of Kirkuk city, a local security source said on Tuesday. “Last evening, an emergency police patrol found a decayed body on Kirkuk-al-Hay al-Sinaie road near al-Sayada gas station,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The body was confirmed to belong to Shaheen Mohammed Mahmoud, 37, the source explained, adding that it bore signs of gunshot wounds to the head. “The victim was reported missing on November 9,” the source pointed out. Kirkuk, an oil-rich and mixed city of Kurds, Turkmen, Christians and Arabs, lies 250 km northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
