Kurdish ministries urged to submit their 2010 budgets

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Ministry of Finance in Iraq’s Kurdistan region has called on all regional ministries to submit their proposed budgets for the year 2010 during the current week, an official statement said on Tuesday. “The premiership in the Kurdistan region has called on all regional ministries to submit their proposed budgets to the Ministry of Finance during this week,” Finance Minister Bayez al-Talabani said in a statement published on the official web site of the Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan RegionG). A joint committee comprised of representatives of the ministries of planning and finance will discuss the proposed budgets before referring them to the Parliament, according to the statement.
