Maliki gives orders not to confiscate light weapons from citizens

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki ordered security authorities not to confiscate light weapons from the citizens’ houses on Tuesday , according to a statement of the premier’s media office. “The premier ordered security authorities not to confiscate light weapons such as (pistols) or (guns) from the citizens’ houses and to allow citizens to keep only one piece of weapon,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
