Int’l workshop on water concluded in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: An international workshop on water crisis in Basra province was concluded on Thursday afternoon. Through 54 specialized studies, the workshop discussed low water levels and the increase in the water’s salination in Basra. “The results of the workshop will be submitted to the Iraqi prime minister’s advisers to implement them,” Mohsen Abdilhay, a source from the workshop, told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that the workshop is the fruition of cooperation between the Basra University and the province’s local authority.
