FIFA allows Iraq women’s soccer team to play internationally

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) allowed the Iraqi women’s soccer team to participate in a festival hosted by the Jordanian capital Amman for the period from Nov. 22 to 29, 2009. The FIFA made an exception for this Iraqi team, as the Iraqi soccer players and teams are deprived from any international contests.
