Baathists behind Salhiya blasts – BOC

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Confessions of those who were involved in the al-Slahiya blasts that occurred in Baghdad late Oct. 2009 shows that the dissolved Baath Party is responsible for the deadly explosions. “Those who planned and carried out the blasts are Baathists,” the Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) said in a press conference in Baghdad on Sunday. It said that one of the bombers is a Saudi citizen. “Areas that got attacked were photographed two days before bombings,” it said. Blasts that occurred in Baghdad on Oct. 25, 2009, left 166 people dead and 500 others wounded. MH (P)/SR 1
