Parliament votes on its budget

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Lawmakers approved on Monday the budgets of the Iraqi Parliament and the Higher Judicial Council, according to a lawmaker from the Iraqi Accord Front. “The Parliament also approved the military service and retirement draft law,” Tayseer al-Mashhadani told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Speaker Iyad al-Samarraie asked the financial committee to present the federal budget in order to vote on it next session,” she added.
