Iraqi, British officials discuss bilateral relations

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari discussed on Thursday Iraqi–UK relations with the British ambassadors to Baghdad and Kuwait. “Latest security and political developments in Iraq, including election, in addition to regional relations, were discussed during the meeting in Baghdad,” according to a release issued by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. According to the statement, the officials also discussed Iraqi–Kuwaiti relations and stressed that all pending issues between Iraq and Kuwait should be solved in accordance with relevant UN resolutions and the interests of both countries’ peoples.
