Fraudsters arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces have arrested a fraud gang in Basra province, a local security official said on Monday. “The gang has claimed to be working with international humanitarian organizations,” Ali Ghanem al-Maliki told IraqiNews.com news agency. The fraudsters have promised to send their victims outside the country to receive medical treatment, conning large amounts of money out of them. Maliki did not reveal their number.
