Suicide bomber wounds 27 people in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: At least 27 persons were wounded in a suicide car bomb explosion in central Mosul, a police source said on Wednesday. “A suicide bomber blew up a car crammed with explosives on Wednesday morning (Jan. 20) targeting an army patrol in al-Qadissiya neighborhood in eastern Mosul, injuring 12 soldiers, 5 policemen and 10 civilians,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The explosion damage the nearby houses, while police carried the wounded to the al-Zuhour medical center,” he added.
