14 persons arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested on Thursday 14 wanted men and suspects in raid operations throughout Basra province. “Six of the arrested men are wanted on criminal charges while the rest are suspects,” a local police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that the forces also seized a pistol and five grenades during the operations. The oil-rich port city of Basra lies 590 km south of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. MH (P)AmR 1
