Foreign firms to build housing units for teachers in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The provincial council in Wassit has signed a contract with a number of foreign companies to build housing units for teachers under a 15-year installment plan. “An initial agreement with the companies has tackled the establishment of a residential compound for teachers under the Iraqi Investment Law,” the head of the council, Mahmoud Mulla Talal, told IraqiNews.com news agency. A health center, a civil defense department and two water and sewage networks will also be built, Talal pointed out. Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad.
