Iraq to play in Asia handball tournament in Lebanon

BAGHDAD / Aswa al-Iraq: Competitions of the 14th Asia handball cup tournament will be opened in the Lebanese capital Beirut on Saturday with participation of 12 team, including Iraq, according to the secretary general of the Iraqi Handball Federation. “Today will see two games played: Saudi Arabia versus Syria and Lebanon versus Jordan,” Lateef Jalloub told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Iraq will play its first game against Japan at 05:00 p.m. Baghdad local Time Sunday and the second on Tuesday same time against Bahrain,” Jalloub added.
