Muwafaq al-Ruabie praises Iran’s efforts in supporting security in Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Former National Security Advisor, Muwafaq al-Rubaie, praised what he described as the continued Iran’s efforts in strengthening stability in Iraq, according to Iranian Fars news agency. “Iran was one of the first countries which helped Iraq to boost its security and economy,” the agency quoted al-Rubaie as saying. “Security efforts exerted by Iranian authorities to step up security procedures on borders helped us to fight the militias and gunmen and I believe this is clear,” he added.
