Cop killed by gunmen in west of Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A policeman was killed on Friday by armed men while heading to his office in west of Mosul, a security source said. “The cop was killed by gunmen in al-Salam neighborhood in Talafar, west of Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The gunmen opened fire on the policemen while heading for his work from his house,” he added. He gave no more details. Talafar district lies 60 km northwest of Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, which lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SH (P) 2
