3 suspected masterminds of Anbar city hall blast

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Security forces arrested three suspected masterminds of the al-Anbar city hall bombing attack in central Ramadi on Thursday, according to a local security source on Saturday. “Intelligence tip-offs have led to the capture of three persons suspected of having planned for the suicide bombing attack that targeted the gate from which city hall employees exit after finishing their working day,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. A police source in Anbar had said on February 18 that a suicide bomber blew up his explosive belt near the gate, leaving seven killed and 20 others wounded. “The suspects are now remanded under investigative custody in different areas of Ramadi,” the source added. Ramadi, the capital city of the troubled predominantly Sunni province of Anbar, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. AmR (P)/SR 2
