Storekeepers in Mosul protest army transgressions

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A number of storekeepers in Mosul have staged a sit-in, protesting what they described as army transgressions against them, a local source said on Saturday. “Those who participated in the sit-in have called for an end to their suffering,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. During their meeting with the Ninewa governor, Athil al-Nujaifi, the protestors have narrated incidents of physical and verbal assault on them by army personnel in the city, the source pointed out.
